Kylen origin and meaning

Modern invented (American)

None — a new name, built from Kyle (a Scottish surname and place name, from Gaelic caol, 'narrow strait') with the fashionable -en ending

Kylen is a contemporary construction on Kyle, the Scottish name that was huge in the 1990s: swap in the -en ending of Aiden-era names and the result is Kylen. It appears in the data from 1990 and reached its highest count in 2025, though its ranking has barely moved since 2020 — growth elsewhere in the charts has kept it in place. There is no older Kylen underneath the modern one.
